Are you the Travel Planner in your family? Do you have sales experience too? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Walt’s World Vacations is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team! Please read through this overview to see if becoming a Travel Agent is a career that would allow you to use your strengths and share your love of travel. We aim to give our clients a unique experience while planning their vacation through exceptional customer service. We customize each vacation and plan it according to that family…not our own. We are experts in our industry and we take what we do extremely seriously. We are making memories for clients that are often once in a lifetime!
What are the job requirements?
We are looking for self-starters who are capable of working independently. Candidates must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized. We prefer individuals who are sales-focused and possess excellent customer service skills as well as a good working knowledge of basic computer applications. Prior travel industry experience is welcomed but not required. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are vital for this position. The most important requirements are personal drive and salesmanship with a love of Disney and a desire to make Disney magic for our clients!
How do I get started?
You can start by filling out the short questionnaire at the bottom of this page. After we receive your initial information, we will send you an interview questionnaire. Then a possible phone interview will be scheduled if we feel you’re a good fit for Walt’s World Vacations team. You will then go through a probationary period where you will complete a training and learn the basics you need for the industry. You will then pay your start up fees and receive your contract to join.
Are there any costs to join?
Yes there are. We value our time and your clients should value yours. We charge our agents a start-up and annual maintenance fee as part of our business. Our goal is to help you make money and grow your business but like with any business there are expenses that you will take on and will be responsible to pay.
How will I get paid?
This is the most important question! Walt’s World Vacations pays our agents a generous percentage based on the commissionable sales received. The greatest benefit of selling travel, is you are in control of your earnings, the more you sell the more you make.

The success you have as an Agent will largely depend on YOU and your availability to your clients. You will be an Independent Contractor… you will set your personal schedule and your clients will be your own. You will receive the training and assistance to succeed plus have the opportunity to participate in seminars and webinars about various destinations. You will not be alone so don’t worry if you are new to the travel industry. We will be here every step of the way to provide support and to help you grow your business and be part of our Ohana.
